As you all know, we are living in a digital world which social media plays an important part. This is the reason why I am motivated to share with you the latest trends, updates, news, etc. in most of social media channels.
This is my first public blog on WordPress and I would like to discuss about the digital trends of shopping in Southeast Asia. The Christmas is over, but New Year especially the Lunar New Year is approaching. In some countries influenced by Chinese culture, people tend to shop even more compared to Christmas. Here is the summary of key highlights: Mondays are most popular for online shopping in the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand, whilst Vietnamese prefer Thursdays and Singaporeans prefer Sundays.

Conclusion: building brand momentum before Christmas plays a key success factor for driving sales. During the festive season, keep optimizing the keywords as well as ad ideas to reach wider audience. December and January could be seen as the strongest shopping period of the whole year. Hence, even after Christmas, marketers should keep the customers engaged with the direct responses ads for conversions to sales.
